Multicenter Uveitis Steroid Treatment (MUST) Trial
Treatment with a steroid implant compared to oral steroid treatment
Anyone is welcome to be considered for the trial - travel expenses are paid for those who are enrolled - but to be considered a letter is needed from your GP/ophthalmologist specifically asking Professor Susan Lightman to consider them for the steroid implant trial at the Hammersmith Hospital. This wording is very important so as the letters do not get confused with all the other types of referral letters and the patient gets sent the wrong appointment (for address and contact details, click on info sheet below)
Please print off the information sheet below to give your GP or Ophthalmologist so as they know what the study is all about (as there is no mechanism to let all the doctors or ophthalmologists know about the trial).
