Donating to UIG
Uveitis is a rare medical illness that affects vision. Uveitis is the fifth leading cause of preventable blindness in the developed world. Uveitis affects children, adults and older people and is found worldwide in every race.
Any money we receive is used to extend the information on this website, respond to patients who have queries or need support, involve uveitis specialists in helping us develop our information database, lobby to raise the profile of uveitis and work to ensure quick diagnosis and quick treatment in order to prevent avoidable sight loss.
We rely entirely on our subscriptions and donations from people like you to educate and support patients. We'd like to be able to help with research into better ways of treating uveitis. In the future, we can, but only with your help.
If you want to donate online - follow this link to Charities Aid Foundation or click on the red button above. This is the best choice for UIG, if you live in the UK and pay tax. It will allow us to claim back the tax you have paid on it and make your donation worth around 25% more with GiftAid.
If you live overseas and would like to make a donation in dollars or euros, for example, then donating via the Paypal link is the best choice for UIG.
