The Royal National Institute for the Blind A very good site containing everything from good practical advice on dealing with visual impairment to education and employment advice.
www.uveitis.org.uk A site published by Oliver Backhouse a Yorkshire Uveitis specialist based in Leeds / Bradford, North England. Good for patient info sheets.
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PVIC/ A UK based email discussion / support group for parents of visually impaired children or adults (not uveitis specific)
http://www.internet-health-directory.com This is a good internet health directory, useful for a lot of general health mattters. It also has a page devoted to uveitis links at: Uvetis page

of diseases and conditions sites offering Health resource - nutrition, cancer,
mental health, allergies, depression, anxiety, diabetes and more.
EyeUK a resource of links to UK based sites on eye, vision and ophthalmology
http://www.goodhope.org.uk This is a very good site run from a hospital in the Midlands in the UK. Although it does not cover uveitis as such, this link will take you to an excellent section covering low vision and magnification aids.
Moorfields Eye Hospital. A fairly large site containing good patient info. and links.
Medicalert If you take steroids or other immunosuppressants, it is a good idea to wear some form of identification. This is one of the best ways to go about it.

Holland

Saudi Arabia
