Although it does not cover uveitis as such, this link will take you to an excellent section covering low vision and magnification aids. Moorfields Eye Hospital. A fairly large site containing good patient info. and links. Medicalert If you take steroids or other immunosuppressants, it is a good idea to wear some form of identification.
